This company was originally formed by Mr. Parkash Hunjan in the year 1956 in Kenya under the name of Hunjan Brothers. The set up was fairly small due to the location and the few industries in Kenya. As time went on Kenya was growing rapidly and so the business enhanced, providing services up to Uganda. In 1971 a branch was opened in Nakuru which was carried on until 1999.

The growing success of the business led to the company to have a reputation of quick service of high standards. After a long period, an expansion strategy was carried out resulting in the opening of a branch in the U.K.
Today Mr Hunjans son is the owner of a company that was inspired by the work of his father. The company Nakuru Industrial Rewinders was launched in 2008. It is based in Nakuru and is in the Rift Valley area of Kenya. Nakuru is a rapidly growing town with rising industries and farms.
